Tina has been looking after our daughter Evie since the end of October 2009. From the beginning Evie was comfortable around Tina and settled in very easily. We also felt instantly at ease and knew that Tina was the right person for us.
Tina has set up a fantastic environment for the children with lots of stimulation and toys that cover all ages. Tina is excellent at interacting with Evie and the other children in her care, she is always involved in their activities and constantly keeping everyone entertained.
It is clear that Tina is very passionate about her job. We certainly consider her to be extremely trustworthy and a wonderful carer for our daughter.
Tina has been looking after my son Archie since April when he was 8 months old. Being such a young age I wanted him to be in an environment where he would get a lot of one to one attention but also be around children to help with his social skills. Tina offers a beautiful homely environment where I know that my son is treated like one of her own. Whilst in Tina's care I know that Archie is very well looked after and is never short of things to do. There are a whole range of toys available for all ages and are educational toys too which at Archie's age is very important with helping him learn new skills. There are a wide range of books available also and I know that Tina will read to the children at least once a day.
Tina is more than willing to help out with trying new foods as Archie is getting older and therefore experimenting more with what he will eat. In fact my son is very fussy about eating fruit and the only place he will happily sit there and eat fruit is at Tina's house! So I know that if he is getting hungry in between the meals that I have provided for him that Tina is offering healthy snacks.
Tina has got to know my son so well that she knows exactly when he is tired and all the little things he likes to help him get off to sleep. Tina has her own son who is a month older than Archie and this has been lovely for him as they have both been teaching each other new things and its great for Archie to learn how to play and interact with children his own age.
Every morning when I drop Archie off I will always let Tina know if Archie has learnt anything new or if he is attempting new things and Tina will make sure that she encourages Archie to carry on practicing these new skills during the day. Everyday Tina will write a diary of what they have done during the day which is lovely as you feel that you are never missing out on anything and I will quite often have a giggle about all the adventures they have been on during the day.
With Tina I have not only found someone who I can totally trust with my child but also a great friend who is always on hand with great advice when needed.
